MAKERSPACES SCHEDULECNC Router In-Person
Want to make large pieces out of wood relatively quickly?! CNC Routing is for you! While the router used in this training is not large, it is capable of teaching you the basics CNC routing!
In this training, you will learn the very basics of CAM in Fusion360, and learn how to set up and run a ShopBot CNC router.
BEFORE ATTENDING THIS TRAINING:
- PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE A CURRENT FUSION360 ACCOUNT. You can sign up for a free education account here: https://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/education
- Please follow the steps at https://make.mit.edu/2022/03/28/cnc-router-cam-training/ to complete the CAM part of the training before coming in-person.
- As part of the online CNC Router CAM Training feel free to modify the text or shapes. Please do not make the model bigger.
Good follow-up trainings include 'CAM with Fusion360' and 'Basic Woodshop'.

Directions: Room 6C-006b. From the basement infinite corridor, at the junction of buildings 4 and 8, turn South into building 6C. You should see a facilities cage and murals. Follow signs to Metropolis on a left-right zigzag.
