Celebrate Making at MIT with us at Maker Break on October 9th (a student holiday with no classes).

What is Maker Break?

Maker Break is a celebration of making for MIT students where you can have fun and show your smart and creative sides. You can engage in friendly competition with fellow students, cheer on your friends and classmates, and explore making in ways that are new to you. There is something for everyone! It is designed to be fun and low stress.

Maker Break is free and open to all MIT students, alumni, faculty and staff.

What can we make at Maker Break?

Form a team of 4-6 people and tackle a mystery challenge for which you will be given arduino, a glue gun, duct tape and more.

Some other making activities will be available like an Origami Station and Button Making.

How can I get involved?

Bring your friends and plan to have fun! Don’t forget to register.

Where and when?

Come to Walker Memorial on Tuesday, October 9th (a student holiday with no classes). Come at 5:30 PM for food, making starts at 6 PM.
