Dub Siren Talk w/ Philip Tan and UROP Brenna-Kennedy Moore In-Person
Come to an evening presentation about the cultural history and technical design of the dub siren, a transistor synthesizer from the 70s and 80s that was a foundational element in Jamaican, Caribbean, and UK dance music. Learn about upcoming workshops to make your own dub siren as well as playful audio research by the MIT Game Lab and MIT Voxel Lab.
Light food and refreshments will be provided. Free registration required.
