Milling is a subtractive manufacturing process that uses a milling machine. Milling machines can be used to create flat surfaces and irreguler geometries, and can be used in a variety of manners and with a variety of materials. CNC (computer numerical control) machining is the art of generating g-code that directs the machine table to remove material. In this training, you will learn to operate the machine from a prepared program. You will make a miller's cube.

Please wear shop appropriate attire: close-toed shoes, long hair tied back, no loose or dangling clothing.
Directions: Room 37-072, 70 Vassar St. Take the elevator to the basement of building 37 and turn left twice. The Deep will be in front of you, with a mural over the door.
