MAKERSPACES SCHEDULE
M1T Makerspace 1st-year Training @ N52- Manual Fabrication In-Person
M1T is a hands on training just for first year students!
M1T Manual Fabrication training teaches you the basics of using some common makerspace tools found at MIT including:
- Bandsaw
- Drill press
- Belt sander
The training is student-run and hands-on. During the training you will use these maker technologies to create your own customized mini-projects.
Note: If you don’t show up to your training session you will NOT be able to sign up for another session without a reasonable explanation or a note from S^3. If you cancel the day of your training session without a reasonable explanation, you will also NOT be able to signup for another training session. Please contact ml-questions@mit.edu if you have questions about this policy.
Please be on time; while we do our best to accommodate lateness, we cannot always do so. Training will begin, at the latest, 5 minutes after the scheduled start time.
Directions: N52, 3rd floor. Take the elevator to the third floor, take a left out of the elevator and walk all the way to the second set of glass doors, turn right and you'll see the shop.
