Surface, Structure, Form: An Introduction To Wool Felting In-Person
In this three-session workshop, students will learn the basics of felting with wool. During the first two sessions, we will explore a variety of surface design techniques (3-D shapes, resists, fringe, geometric forms, folds, layers). In the final session, students will apply these techniques to a final project of their choice: a vessel, wearable, tapestry, etc.
There is no prior felting or fiber arts experience required, but students should be able to commit to all three class sessions. We will meet in the MIT Museum learning lab! Directions: https://maps.app.goo.gl/1o2jVw1MAanvfEew8
Registration has closed. (This event has to be booked as part of a series)
